Personality:
Not quite the archetype of a doctor, Nancy lacks compassion and a certain amount of gentleness in contact with patients and people in general. Having no sense for nonsense and activities completely free of any value (especially when those are harmful or dangerous) she comes off as a crude buzzkill, rude at that. She appears to be greatly annoyed by patients who get injured on their own account and might let them suffer more than she should.
She does, however, very well know how to have fun, but hates to waste time, knowing that hard work and no slacking off are the only things leading to success and happiness in the long run.
In a team situation, she is surprisingly cooperative. Having been working in a close knitted team since her childhood, she knows of the efficiency of many people working together to complete something big.


Biography:
Nancy was still very young when her parents divorced.
Formerly born in Brisbane, Australia, she and her mother moved to live and work at her aunt's cattle station far in the outback, breaking all contact with her father. Growing up with her 5 cousins, all of them boys, Nancy soon learned how to stand up for herself in order to not fall behind with the others, resulting in a rather sharp and pragmatic attitude. Though she got along well with most of the boys, she developed a special kind of relationship with Brian, the oldest one. Being a part of the RFDC, the Royal Flying Doctor Service treating to people living too far in the outback to reach a hospital or doctor themselves, he inspired young Nancy to pursue a medical career in the future.

Nancy, however, didn't have as much luck as her cousin. Her mother couldn't afford to send her to a bigger city in order to attend a university. Nancy therefore applied for a scholarship program of the army, and got accepted. Apparently gifted, and naturally hardworking, she soon scored the top grades in her year. Sure of having discovered a talent, the authorities decided to send her off to Milizia, a school with far better possibilities and equipment than their own.

Seems to be chewing on gum or a toothpick 24/7. When none is available, other materials can suffice
Has a scar on her left hand in the form of two little holes from being bitten by a snake as a kid
Wears big, round earring, although she doesn't seem to particularly like jewelry or make-up
