Calm:
She doesn't seem to be bothered by much usually. It's hard to provoke her unless you hurt her pride or someone she is very close to.

Courteous:
Akane can behave well most of the time and keep a prudent air around her as long as it's necessary. Her behavior pretty much depends on where she is or whom she is with.

Overprotective:
If she really likes someone, she's very likely to become overprotective of that person. Sometimes in a rough and selfish way.

She enjoys putting puns into her speech and occasionly drops snarky remarks here and there.

H i s t o r y

Akane, was born in the very old district of a big city to a Kobudo master and his wife. Her mother left the family soon after Akane's birth, so she grew up under the influence of her father and her two older brothers, but nevertheless had a pretty healthy and even childhood.

Although she turned out to be a skilled and bright child, she had to enter a rather decayed middle school due to her family's money problems. There was lot of bullying and although Akane never turned to a victim due to her tall build, martial art skills and boyish behavior she became friends with a very shy and gentle girl called Yue, who got picked on by the other students consequently. After years of being bullied and pushed around Yue attempted suicide by taking sleeping pills and has been comatose ever since. Akane became very antisocial and guild-ridden, blaming herself for not taking enough care of her best friend and started to meet up with gangs, "punishing" bullies by beating them to a bloody pulp to cope with her anger and depression.
As her brothers found out about their younger sister's after school activities, they manged to talk some sense into her and get her straight again. Akane, however, never really lost the habit of relieving stress with her fists.
